| Needed: Volunteers: gardeners, grandparents,parents,staff, and students, (students will receive a certificate of community service hours they earned while working on this project) to help plant, mulch, edge, and maintain our plantings and put in two more islands of plants Materials: (please contact the school if you intend to drop off materials. Please also consider we meet on Wednesdays.) perennials (any size will work..) small shrubs such as barberry, potentilla, spirea, viburnum... daffodil and tulip bulbs shovels (we have broken two so far with all the construction debris in the soil!!! Cash donations through the Rochester Foundation would be greatly appreciated as we still have to buy plants for the second story area. |
