| Tune:"Oh My Darling" The Senses Oh, I can see with my eyes, Hear the birds sing in the sky. Feel the warm sun on my nose, Smell the fragrance of a rose. Taste the ice cream off the truck, Oh my senses, help me so much! Oh my senses, oh my senses, Sight, sound, smelling, taste, and touch! Oh my senses, oh my senses, They all help me do so much. Oh my senses, oh my senses, Sight sound, smelling, taste, and touch! Lynda Fabry Rabbits & Hares Rabbits are smaller Hares are taller Rabbits are born with their eyes closed. | Tune: "Three Blind Mice" States of Matter What is matter? What is matter? A solid, liquid, or gas. A solid, liquid, or gas. It takes up space and weighs something too! It also blows your skirts and hats, It dries wet clothes and knocks signs down flat. You can't see, touch,or taste but feel it blow, Windy day. Anon. |

| Tune: "The Farmer in the Dell" Michigan Seasons The seasons come and go, Sometimes it seems so slow. Hi Ho, it's Michigan The seasons come and go. It's winter, it's so cold, the wind is sometimes bold. Hi Ho, it's Michigan The seasons come and go. Spring is rainy and wet, It's not summer yet! Hi Ho, it's Michigan The seasons come and go. Summer is sunny and hot, I play outside a lot. Hi Ho, it's Michigan The seasons come and go. Fall is back to school, I see my friends, that's cool! Hi Ho it's Michigan The seasons come and go. | Frog Life Cycle The frog lives in a bog, She lays an egg in the slog.(slough) The egg grows into a tadpole, Swimming around in a hole. He has a tail and gills, He never stays still. His tail gets smaller as he grows, Soon he has back legs with webbed toes. Then front legs begin to sprout. His lungs develop and help him shout! Soon the tadpole has grown into a frog. Now he can hop onto a log. (children can dramatize this poem with swimming, growing, shouting, hopping) Beverly Hayhurst |

| See Ya Later, Incubator to:"Turkey in the Straw" Oh I had a little egg and I wanted it to hatch, So I put in an incubator and I locked the latch. Oh we had to wait for 21 days to ever see a pip, Then little chicky #1 was out, "WOW, what a trip!" See ya later, incubator, Cuz you kinda cramped my style. See ya later, incubator, I won't be back for quite a while. See ya later, incubator, Don't 'cha love my chicky smile? See ya later, incubator, I won't be back for quite a while. The Bracher Family |
